ALLISON ARGENT
[attr="class","dropfrumbodytxt"]PERSONALITY:
Allison Argent is a lot of things. She is resilient and empathetic. Clever, and cunning. She has a hunter's brain, and a teenagers heart. And while likeable, and quick-witted, she is not without fault. She claims her mothers temper with a defiant fury, and can be too quick to judge and even quicker to act. Unafraid to fight for what she believes in, even if is of questionable morality. At times she can be unforgiving; the type to hold a grudge between tight, unyielding fists. But she will fight herself bloody for the people she loves, even if that comes at the expense of her own well-being, because she never gives up, no matter how afraid she may be.
HISTORY:
"The first casualty of war, is innocence."
The name Argent means more than just ‘silver’ for Allison’s family. It is the curve of a glossy bullet, embedded with a curlicue emblem. It is blood, sweat, and tears. The abandonment of normality for a righteous cause. It is control, and vindication. At least, that is what it used to mean. But, such morality can become skewed through time. And the Argent’s have been hunting for as long as their family tree chooses to remember. However, Allison was not born with this knowledge. Rather is was carved into her in growth. For, whether she liked it or not, she was the legacy of a silver-toothed demand. Where she was born never mattered, rather it was always where she was going. The daughter of two prolific Argent’s, Chris and Victoria, Allison would spend the majority of her growth ignorant to the truth of her family’s name. Groomed under the impression that she was a simple daughter of two ambitious arms dealers, she found nothing sinister in her parents drive to shape her into an athletic, self-sufficient weapon. From archery, to gymnastics. They were simply ‘strict’ and ‘expectant’. Much like many an overzealous parent. That is, of course, until the Argent’s landed in Beacon Hills. Nobody would be ready for what awaited them in the little suburban town. Least of all, Allison.
It was in Beacon Hills that Allison would meet Scott McCall. A pup with doughy eyes and a charming smile, she didn’t stand a chance. And the unlikeliest of couple would form. Werewolf, and daughter of werewolf hunters. A cruel joke, really. Unlike Scott, Allison fell in love with him without knowing of his strange, howling proclivities. While he knew of her families sinister plot to erase him from existence. Of course, the fact that her boyfriend was being hunted by her family did cause many a problem in the young couples relationship. Scott's true supernatural identity could not stay secret forever, especially with the threat of Kate, Allison's aunt, breathing down the couples neck on her bid to rid Beacon Hills of all things werewolf. Alas, Scott wasn't the only person in Mystic Falls that formed a bond with Allison, not long after moving, Allison struck up a strong friendship with Lydia Martin, an unlikely pair of friends they stuck together through tough times.
Strangely, even after the death of her aunt at the hands of the werewolf that bit Scott - Peter Hale - and finding out what he truly was and what her family really did for a living, they stayed together. Despite the heavy burden of her disapproving parents, having been forbidden entirely from being together when the truth finally came to light. Love truly did seem to prevail until her grandfather came to town, Gerard. A harsh man who was in Beacon Hills to savagely avenge the death of Kate, he manipulated Allison and many other Beacon Hills residents while the bloody reign of the Kanima gripped the town.
It all came to a head when Allison's mother - a strong willed and at times, impulsively angry woman - was bitten by Derek after being captured with the intent to be killed by the hunter. Being a werewolf went against everything her mother had ever been taught and so, she killed herself. Her death broke Allison in more ways than one and it didn't take much for her to snap, a note was left to her from her mother, given to her by Gerard, Allison suddenly felt vengeful. No stranger around weaponry thanks to her past in Archery and the training her father had been putting her through to become a hunter, she set out with the intent to kill Derek and possibly his whole pack.
Her vengeance plan did not follow through as she finally realised what Gerard was really after, though it was not without its close calls. And she was still mourning her mothers death. This all lead to the break up of Scott and Allison. Allison then spent part of her summer away from Beacon Hills and in France with her father. They gave up their life of hunting werewolves and settled in a new home in Beacon Hills upon their return. But new horrors befell on Beacon Hills and suddenly Allison was hunting again, helping her ex and her friends battles a ferocious Alpha pack and a homicidal Dark Druid. But this time, Allison came awful close to losing both parents as the Darach fought to complete her sacrifices and receive great power from the Nemeton. Allison, Scott and Stiles risked their lives for their parents at the price of giving the Nemeton what it wanted. Pulling through, the parents were saved and Allison had her father back.
It was out of retirement for father and daughter, as the horrific battles they fought made them rethink the code in which the lived by. Their revised code being: "Nous protégeons ceux qui ne peuvent pas se protéger eux même" -- We protect those, who cannot protect themselves.
