@mari && @tobias OK SO obvi, we need to thread these two bbies b/c they're both hellhounds and Tobias could honestly have a buddy to bond over....i dunno, death shit? Maybe the two could have known each other already at some point before he came to Beacon Hills? Tobias moved around a lot, and I'm sure the two probably encountered each other several times, but the two never really kept in constant contact (I oddly imagined that Mari would just have him on speed dial just for kicks tho  . Like, she accidentally just butt-dials Toby sometimes and is all "Oh oops sorry i'm drunk bye" XD). So yeah, maybe he knows who the Verum Venatores are, and they probably would have heard of him too. Maybe the organization could have followed Tobias' activities and learned that he was in Beacon Hills too, and could send Marianne to talk him into joining Verum Venatores. I'd imagine that they might have tried to get him to join, since he's a pretty good mercenary, but he probably "politely" declined their offer in the past. So maybe Marianne decides to convince him and they have a convo about the organization amongst other supers stuff. That's one idea, but we don't have to do that. We could just have a thread where Marianne just casually finds him and is all "Oh hey, you're here too! let's party" or something. Let me know what you think! Uhm, maybe Nico is in the middle of fighting a couple of werewolves or monsters, and Tobias could appear in the guise of a hunter who heard the fighting and decides to "help" him? And Nico's like "who dafq r u" and Toby's just all "oh don't mind me, just your average hunter swinging by!" and then boom, fire outta toby and Nico's like "oh no you're one of those things". Well, Mari has never actually met another hellhound. She suspects that others exist, but has never actually met one. However, I definitely do want these two to bond over death and stuff haha. Sounds like a beautiful friendship already, let me tell you. But I was thinking, that the Verum Venatores hear of his skills as a mercenary and have on file that he is a hellhound, Mari jumps at the chance to recruit him, wanting to confirm if he is really a hellhound. But what if he already knew of her? He's older than her, right? So he has come across her as a simple acquaintance in the past centuries, at one point even as a friend, but never revealing himself. He just always wanted to make sure she was handling it well. When she meets him, she vaguely recognizes him and that's when he tells her he already knows of her? I don't know, another potential idea of course.

Oh, liking the potential idea. Except Nico should be the one attacking other supernatural creatures on the outskirt of Beacon Hills, and Tobias come thinking he's coming to help him when he realizes Nico is the attacker. But the distraction Tobias causes allows the others to flee before Nico can finish his job, which is when he asks him who the hell he is. Also, there's a bounty on Nico's head so what if Tobias recognizes him from the bounty? Except he doesn't attack Nico, but notices something really off about him?

@mari && TOBY YES. I love that idea actually! I do like the idea of him coming across her as a simple acquaintance in the past, acting as a friend, and keeping watch over her while keeping himself in the shadows. Kind of a secret guardian angel of sorts. So yes, I am down for Mari just meeting him because of the file Verum Venatores has on him and then just her realizing she's seen him somewhere. It's definitely going to be an interesting conversation for the two of them to have! I can toss up a starter sometime tonight!  [googlefont="Roboto"] Dude. I love that idea even better. I also like the idea that Tobias recognizes him from the bounty, but doesn't attack him because he'll notice that there's something not right about the guy. I feel like Tobias might just try to act nonchalant about the fact that he just totally didn't interrupt his job, and that could possibly rile Nico up, and the two could get into a fight. And we could end it with Toby leaving, only to make Nico even more pissed that he didn't finish the job, and that he let go. What do you think? [googlefont="Roboto"] |

As for NICO VIERA and Tobias, I like that idea. I want them to fight, I want Nico angry at Tobias for a) interrupting him and  leaving, reminding Nico that he interrupted his job.
